Female fertility service
We offer investigations and diagnoses to women and couples who are having difficulty getting pregnant. We can only treat patients on the NHS if they are eligible for NHS-funded fertility treatment.
We undergo a large number of reproductive surgeries and have a high level of expertise in correcting surgical problems related to fertility. Most treatments we do are done with minimally invasive techniques. We have a high level of expertise in looking after women and couples with failed in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) or fertility treatments.
Conditions and treatments
We deal with infertility hormonal problems related to periods and fertility (i.e polycystic ovary syndrome), as well as surgical problems related to fertility (i.e. fibroids or cysts). Tests and treatments include:
- ovulation inductions – i.e. for polycystic ovary syndrome
- follicle tracking – i.e. for polycystic ovary syndrome
- reproductive surgery – i.e. for fibroids or cysts
- IVF
- blood tests
- Hysterosalpingography (HSG)
- Hysterosalpingo-contrast-sonography (HyCoSy)
