About
Our clinical neurophysiology service investigates the function of the central and peripheral nervous system. We offer diagnostic tests for people with suspected epilepsy, trapped nerves, and disorders affecting the peripheral nervous system, or nerves in the arms, hands, legs and feet.
Conditions and treatments
We offer a wide range of neurophysiological procedures to assist in diagnosing conditions including:
- epilepsy
- motor neuron disease
- neuropathies
Diagnostic tests include:
- EEG (electroencephalography)
- EMG (electromyography)
- evoked potentials
- nerve conduction studies (NCS)
