Research & publications
Dr Bamford has had a longstanding interest in mucosal infection and worked on the mucosal immunology and aetiology of H. pylori. More recently her interest centres around healthcare-associated infections such as C. difficile, MRSA and CPE, particularly diagnostics, molecular epidemiology and risk.
