As a Trust we are monitored against national standards and targets known as performance indicators. They provide an overview of how successful we are as an organisation at delivering healthcare. They help us monitor waiting times, safety and patient experience.
Our hospitals are also regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who award ratings against five quality domains: safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. On 23 July 2019 Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital was given the overall CQC rating:

Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital is a maternity, women’s and neonatal care hospital, also with strong research links. It has a midwife-led birth centre as well as specialist services for complicated pregnancies, foetal and neonatal care.

I gave birth to my son at Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea birth centre and could not have hoped for more professional or compassionate care. The whole birth centre has a wonderful ethos and a great team. We couldn't be more grateful.

Outstanding, caring professionals. I have received the best care I could imagine on the arrival of our son. The midwives in the centre were excellent and delivered our baby safely. Postnatal care in the birth centre was excellent. Even after being discharged I could count on them and call to ask for an advice when needed. We are both very grateful to all staff of the birth centre.

I have no words to express my gratitude to the staff of Queen Charlotte's Hospital. What an amazing experience. I must thank all the midwives and doctors who took care of my wife and baby. Antenatal, delivery and post natal care were all just fabulous. Thanks once again, you all are awesome.
