Background

Dr Federico Minen is a paediatrician with subspecialisation in paediatric general and cardiac intensive care. He completed general paediatric training in Italy in 2012. Subsequently, he worked as a consultant paediatrician in a paediatric department in Italy for three years.

Dr Minen moved to the United Kingdom (UK) in 2015. After an initial year of exposure as Clinical Fellow in neonatology (Imperial College Hospital, London), for the following five years he has been working as a Senior Fellow in several tertiary paediatric intensive care units (PICUs) and paediatric cardiac intensive care units (CICUs) across London (Royal Brompton Hospital, Evelina London Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital).

Dr Minen completed his Initial Assessment of Competence (IAC) in Kingston Hospital in 2022. His current employment, since August 2022, is locum consultant in PICU at St Mary’s Hospital in London.
