Background

Dr Andrew Palmer trained at Kings’s College Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital renal units.

He was appointed consultant nephrologist at St Mary’s Hospital in 1983 and moved to Hammersmith Hospital in 2005. He also holds an honorary consultant post at Central Middlesex Hospital.

He is experienced in all aspects of renal disease including general nephrology and both acute and chronic renal failure. Dr Palmer has undertaken research in the field of renal transplantation and has longstanding experience in this field.

Dr Palmer prides himself on providing the best possible care for his patients. He believes a sympathetic understanding of the issues and implications of patient’s medical problems is vital in the field of renal medicine.
