Background

Professor Onn Min Kon is a respiratory physician and head of the tuberculosis service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He is professor of respiratory medicine at the National Heart & Lung Institute, Imperial College London. He is chair of the UK National Multidrug-resistant Tuberculosis (MDRTB) clinical advice service. 

He is a member of the National Tuberculosis Oversight Group and chairs the Joint Tuberculosis Committee. 

In addition to a general respiratory clinic, he runs a sarcoidosis and interstitial lung disease clinic. He is the senior bronchoscopist for the respiratory service which offers a tertiary endobronchial ultrasound service. Professor Kon also organises the London advanced tuberculosis course.
