Mr Frank Dor attended medical school in Antwerp, Belgium and Rotterdam, Netherlands. He qualified from Erasmus MC University cum laude. He completed his PhD (cum laude) at Harvard Medical School and Erasmus MC University Medical Center, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Mr Dor undertook his general surgery and transplant surgery training at Erasmus MC University Medical Center Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Mr Dor's research interests are:
1. Living organ donation, especially live kidney donation. His interests range from surgical technical topics, ethics, psychosocial and informed consent to donor screening and follow up.
2. Ischemia reperfusion injury: including reconditioning strategies (ischemic conditioning, machine perfusion, cellular therapies, dietary preconditioning, immunomodulation)
