For women with pregnancy-related musculoskeletal problems

We only see pregnant women with musculoskeletal problems who are booked to have their baby at St Mary’s or Queen Charlotte & Chelsea hospitals.

GP

GPs can refer pregnant women who fulfil the requirements above via NHS e-Referrals. 

Please include the following patient information with your referral:

  • full name
  • date of birth
  • NHS number
  • reason for referral including any relevant past medical history

Self-referrals

Pregnant women who fulfil the criteria above can self-refer by contacting the maternity helpline on 020 3312 6135 or speaking to their midwife. 

 

For women with bladder, bowel or pelvic floor problems 

For women with gynaecological or urogynaecological problems (pelvic floor dysfunction), how they can be referred depends on which CCG is responsible for their care.

We currently only see a small number of men who are registered with a GP in Central London CCG. If you have a question regarding referring men to this service, please phone 020 3313 3072.
