For women with pregnancy-related musculoskeletal problems

We only see pregnant women with musculoskeletal problems who are booked to have their baby at St Mary’s or Queen Charlotte & Chelsea hospitals.

GP

GPs can refer pregnant women who fulfil the requirements above via NHS e-Referrals. 

Please include the following patient information with your referral:

  • full name
  • date of birth
  • NHS number

reason for referral including any relevant past medical history


Self-referrals

Pregnant women who fulfil the criteria above can self-refer by contacting the maternity helpline on 020 3312 6135 or speaking to their midwife. 

For individuals with bladder, bowel or pelvic floor problems 

For with gynaecological or urogynaecological problems (pelvic floor dysfunction), how they can be referred depends on which CCG is responsible for their care.

For women with bladder, bowel or pelvic floor problems 

For women registered with a GP in West London CCG with gynaecological or urogynaecological problems (pelvic floor dysfunction), how they can be referred via their GP (Please use NHS e-Referrals) as well as self-refer by phoning 020 8102 5520 or emailing clcht.continencepromotion@nhs.net for further information.

For both men and women in other CCG areas within our referral criteria for bladder, bowel or pelvic floor problems referrals are accepted via Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust consultants (urology, gynaecological, gynae-oncology or urogynaecological).
