Ms Patricia Ortega is a skilled and compassionate bariatric and general surgeon, wholeheartedly dedicated to effecting transformative changes in the lives of her patients through surgical excellence and unwavering commitment to patient-centric care.

With a journey in medical education that commenced in 2003, Ms Ortega earned her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the prestigious University of Navarra (Spain) in 2009, followed by specialized training in General Surgery at the same institution (2015). Her academic foundation, combined with observerships at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, Minnesota) and Imperial College of London (UK), has equipped her with profound medical knowledge and a dedication to personalized patient care.

Before her venture into the United Kingdom, Ms Ortega served as a Consultant General and Upper GI Surgeon at the renowned University Clinic of Navarra. Her UK adventure began with a prestigious RCS of England Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at St Mary’s Hospital, where she honed her skills by performing over 300 bariatric procedures (2020-2022) and earned the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS).
