Holly is a specialist psychological therapist accredited with the British Association of Cognitive & Behavioural Psychotherapists (BABCP). She has worked in the NHS for over 8 years, providing therapeutic support within the community. Initially, she started in Talking Therapies (previously known as IAPT) and now works within clinical health psychology for Imperial College NHS Trust. Additionally, she provides supervision for therapists offering low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and high-intensity CBT. She has completed the EMDR UK standardised training and is working towards accreditation.
Prior to her NHS work, she provided rehabilitative CBT within the prison service to both adults and young adults.
Over the years, she has begun to specialise in supporting individuals with long-term health conditions (LTC) such as cardiac conditions, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, and arthritis.
Her current NHS employment specifically focuses on cardiac rehab within clinical health psychology. This includes supporting people who have experienced cardiac events such as heart attacks, heart surgeries, and heart failure diagnoses.
