Background

Dr Amarjit Sethi has a key interest in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. This includes imaging non-invasively with cardiac CT; invasive physiological and anatomical assessment with intravascular ultrasound; and treatment with coronary angioplasty and stenting.

He treats patients who have suffered acute heart attacks at Hammersmith Hospital.

Expertise

Acute cardiology, acute internal medicine

Research & publications

Dr Sethi’s research interests include acute coronary syndromes and the physiological assessment of coronary disease. He has a PhD and an MBA. He is also interested in arrhythmias, performing pacemaker insertion, hypertension, heart failure and valvular heart disease. Dr Sethi has received Clinical Excellence awards recognising his clinical achievements.
