How green is your hospital? 'Better hospitals' seminar available to watch

In our second 'Better hospitals' seminar we discuss what new, super-sustainable hospitals could look like and what the NHS can do now to help reduce the health impact of climate change.

Speakers including Dr Nick Watts, the NHS’s first Chief Sustainability Officer and leading environmentalist and architect, Sunand Prasad, covered subjects from how the NHS is approaching its ambitious net zero targets and how to build (and refurbish) for sustainability, to how to make every day clinical practice more sustainable and the patient and wider community impact of going ‘green’, both inside and outside hospital walls. What all our speakers and audience members agreed on was that sustainability is everyone's responsibility. If you would like to get involved in the Trust's forthcoming Green Plan, look out for news about the launch next month.
