You can play a part in improving healthcare and enabling pioneering research at our Trust by donating or fundraising to one of our charity organisations.
You or a loved one may have been a patient at one of our hospitals and want to say thank you, or you may just want to support us to deliver the best care to our community.
Donate to Imperial Health Charity
Imperial Health Charity is the Trust’s dedicated charity. It helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering and fundraising.
The charity funds major redevelopments, research and medical equipment, as well as helping patients and their families at times of extreme financial difficulty.
Recently, the charity has supported several major improvements at our hospitals – including the refurbishment of our Riverside operating theatres at Charing Cross Hospital, enhanced outpatients facilities at Hammersmith Hospital and the redevelopment of our children’s intensive care unit at St Mary’s Hospital. The charity has also helped us deliver a programme of improvements to facilities for our staff, including better breakrooms, kitchens and changing areas as well as two brand new lounge areas for staff to rest and relax.
Many people choose to make a donation to the charity after receiving excellent care at our hospitals. If you would like to make a gift, you can choose how your donation is spent. You can donate to the particular hospital, ward or department that means the most to you, or to one of the charity’s fundraising appeals and campaigns.

Become a Friend
Our Friends groups are independent voluntary organisations that support our hospitals in many ways by raising funds for local improvements and helping out at events. Importantly, they also provide a close connection with our local communities.
