Quality improvement sprint September 2017

Are you interested in improving patient care? The Trust runs a series of sprint events that are open to everyone as part of our quality improvement programme. These are day-long events where healthcare staff, patients, artists, engineers and designers work together to come up with innovative solutions and test these new ideas with patients and hospital staff.

Despite the event name, we can assure you no running takes place as the approach and name comes from an IT project management methodology.

Through teamwork and incorporating suggestions from people with different backgrounds and perspectives, previous sprints enabled improvements to reduce noise on wards and developments for paperless outpatients clinics.
