Background
Dr Eduardo Olavarria is currently the medical director of the blood and marrow transplantation unit at Hammersmith Hospital and honorary senior lecturer in the department of haematology, Imperial College London. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Navarre, Spain and a PhD from the Autonoma University in Madrid, Spain.
He completed his training in haematology and stem cell transplantation between Madrid and London and worked as a clinical research fellow in the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London.
