Finalists at the London Healthcare Support Worker Awards

The Nursing Directorate Education Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has been shortlisted for three categories in the upcoming London Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) Awards 2023:

  • Trust of the Year - for efforts to attract people to work as HCSWs, especially via engagement with local communities in north west London and broader partnership work with local organisations.
  • Collaboration & Partnership - for working with local colleges and secondary schools to support young people to consider HSCW roles as a career.
  • Innovation in Recruitment - for a pilot scheme run in partnership with Indeed to improve the recruitment process for HCSWs.

The winners will be announced during the London HCSW awards ceremony on Tuesday 17 October 2023. The awards are dedicated to honouring the remarkable contributions, dedication and professionalism exhibited by HCSWs, teams and trusts in London as they play a pivotal role in the delivery of exceptional patient care.
