Free events for senior citizens as part of Silver Sunday at Charing Cross Hospital
The Trust is hosting free health events for senior citizens as part of the Silver Sunday week
Silver Sunday is a national week long campaign to tackle loneliness amongst the older generation, build a sense of community and celebrate the contribution older people make. 50,000 people took part last year and over 1,000 events are planned for this year.
A low impact exercise class, an informative workshop about staying healthy in older age and a South Asian dance class are planned. Detailed information is included in the flyer. These sessions have been kindly donated by Charing Cross Sports Club, Akademi and Imperial Health Charity.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments available after each session. For the active classes, participants will complete a short survey about their health before starting. Booking is required for each session.
