AHSC webinar: Reverse Innovation in the NHS

Reverse innovation is an innovation developed in a low- or middle-income country which is then adopted by a high-income country. It has been identified as a key emerging trend in global health systems, as these innovations do more with less and challenge a more traditional knowledge flow from rich to poor countries.

Dr Matthew Harris, Clinical Senior Lecturer in Public Health at Imperial College London, will present his research on the concept of reverse innovation; biases, evidence frameworks and the background of Community Health and wellbeing workers in Brazil.

Dr Cornelia Junghans Minton is Senior Clinical Fellow in Primary Care and Social Care Lead in the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. She will discuss her work on the challenges in primary care, the West London case study and its impact.

This is a joint webinar with the National Institute of Health and Care Research Applied Research Collaboration Northwest London.
