GP referrals

Please use NHS e-Referrals to refer a patient to our bleeding and clotting disorders service. Please provide information as to which investigations have already been carried out and include results of these if possible.

Secondary care referrals

Referrals to our haematology services can be made via NHS e-Referrals. Please provide information as to which investigations have already been carried out and include results of these if possible.

Urgent referrals

For urgent advice, emergencies or enquiries regarding haemophilia, please contact the department and ask for the coagulation registrar.

Self-referrals

New patients, including patients moving into the area, who have haemophilia or other hereditary bleeding disorders can contact the haemophilia centre directly or attend the walk-in service at the haemophilia centre in normal working hours.
