Background
Dr Ivan Walton qualified in medicine in 1968. He was a principal in general practice for over two years before training as a geriatrician. He was appointed as a full time consultant at Charing Cross Hospital in November 1978, and now works part time concentrating on outpatient work in the joint memory clinic with the West London Mental Health Trust. He also provides consultations in care homes in Hammersmith and Fulham including advice to the community rehabilitation service based at the Farm Lane Care Home in Fulham. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London).
