Road closures and travel disruption for Notting Hill Carnival this weekend

Please be aware that the annual Notting Hill Carnival will be held this bank holiday weekend (Saturday 24 August – Monday 26 August). Public transport and roads in west London will be very busy with major road closures in west London from 02:00 Sunday 25 August until 05:00 Tuesday 27 August.

The Trust will be running a normal service but the road closures and traffic congestion may impact your journey when visiting our hospital sites.

Further information about traffic and transport impact is available on the TFL website.  You can also use the locations section of our website to help you plan your journey to our hospitals.

Tube and rail will be the best way to get around London on the weekend, although stations in west London will be busier than usual. For safety reasons some stations may close temporarily to prevent overcrowding.

Further information regarding the event can be found on the Notting Hill Carnival website.
