Changes to the Trust Board

Professor Andrew Bush and Peter Goldsbrough have been appointed non-executive directors of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust alongside two designate non-executive directors, Nick Ross and Victoria Russell.

Professor Bush and Peter Goldsbrough will join the Trust board from 1 September following the departures of Jeremy Isaacs CBE, who has been a member of the board since September 2008, and Sir Anthony Newman-Taylor who joined in October 2012.

Professor Bush specialises paediatric respiratory medicine and has practised all over the world. He has authored more than 400 academic papers and has held director and leadership positions at a number of hospital trusts and healthcare organisations.

Peter Goldsbrough was a managing director at The Boston Consulting Group and is now a senior advisor to the firm. He has also previously served as a non-executive director with NHS London.  He has many years’ experience working with healthcare, pharmaceutical and academic organisations as well as substantial financial management expertise.

The Trust has also appointed Nick Ross and Victoria Russell who will fill future board vacancies which are anticipated in the coming year. Both will attend board meetings from September in an observational capacity.

Nick Ross is best known as a broadcaster and journalist and has many years’ experience in the healthcare sector. He has sat on numerous advisory panels and ethics committees for organisations including the Department of Health, The King’s Fund, Royal College of Physicians, Clothier Committee, Gene Therapy Advisory Committee, and the Wales Cancer Bank. 

Victoria Russell trained as a lawyer and has operated at board level in both the private and public sector including with Glass Door Homeless Charity. She has many years’ experience of change management and transformation leadership.
