Acute and specialist recruitment coffee morning

We are excited to be hosting a coffee morning for nurses considering a career in Acute and Specialist nursing to work across different wards and gain different experience and skills. We welcome interest from nurses from all backgrounds.

We have vacancies on the following wards:

  • Douglas Ward (Hepatology patients and patients with acute medical conditions)
  • Thistlewaite Ward (Medicine for the elderly)
  • Manvers Ward and Acute Respiratory Unit (Respiratory medicine)

Our open day offers the chance to meet some of our clinical teams and get to know how we can support your career progression. We have opportunities for both newly qualified and experienced Band 5 nurses who are interested to join our team across Acute and Specialist Medicine.

At the open day you can also find out about the preceptorship program we offer for newly qualified nurses and the in house training including leadership programmes for all levels.

The opportunities we can offer will set you on a pathway for great success and for progression towards where you see yourself in the future.

If you are looking for a rotation programme but don’t want to be tied down we have the perfect solution for you. By using our transfer scheme you can actually set your own rotation if and when you like so you can be in control of your development.

We offer a flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the individual and the service. Please talk to us at interview about the flexibility you may need.

We will be able to interview you on the day but if you want to find out more just come and have a chat to discuss your career plans and whether we can be a part of them.
