Background

Dr Peter Evans was educated in the north of England, and graduated from Guy's Hospital. He trained in Nottingham, Sheffield and Oxford and obtained further experience in Australia, New Zealand and Sweden. Dr Evans was a research fellow in pain medicine in Oxford in 1978-1982 . He is the former president of the British Medical Acupuncture Society. He was also elected as an honorary member of the British Pain Society in 2011.
