New large vaccination centre launches at the Novotel London West in Hammersmith
The NHS in North West London is continuing the roll out of the Covid-19 vaccine programme with a new large vaccination centre opening at the Novotel hotel London West in Hammersmith. The new vaccination centre at the Novotel is run by Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, as part of the collaborative effort with Hammersmith and Fulham Council and Accor, the hotel group that manages the Novotel. The site will start offering vaccinations from today (Monday 15 March).
The large-scale site is a short walk from Hammersmith tube station, and will offer thousands more life-saving vaccinations each week. The launch of the centre comes as the NHS focuses on the latest priority groups who are eligible for the vaccine - people aged 55 and over and people with long term health conditions.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust chief executive Professor Tim Orchard, said:
“The community vaccination programme is being rolled out quickly to protect as many people as possible from serious illness and move us all closer to a more normal way of life. We’re very pleased to play our part in this – now managing two of the centres in north west London. Our staff also continue to work incredibly hard caring for all patients across our hospitals as well as running a major staff vaccination programme.”
