Background
Dr Susan Ceator was state educated before going on to study at Oxford University. She undertook a pre-clinical and clinical PhD in genomic profiling at the Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden Hospital. She has a good grounding in general medicine and emergency care.

Dr Cleator is interested in the tailoring of treatment, in particular using genomic markers as predictors of treatment response. She is an active recruiter to trials that investigate novel systemic (drug) agents in treatment of breast and colorectal cancers as well as new radiation approaches in treatment of breast and colorectal cancers.
