Dr Stuart Viegas
Background
Dr Viegas qualified from University College London Medical School in 2001 with honours. He undertook research in myasthenia gravis and neuromuscular disease at the University of Oxford and was awarded a DPhil before he completed his neurology specialist training in Wessex and London. He was appointed as a consultant neurologist at Hillingdon and Imperial in 2014. At Imperial he leads the muscle and MG service providing second opinions from NW London and further afield. At Hillingdon he is a busy general neurologist seeing both outpatients and inpatients with a range of neurological conditions.

He has published original research, review articles and contributed to book chapters in the field of myasthenia gravis, myositis and other neuromuscular disorders.
