Community gynaecology

About

Please note: From 31 January 2020, the Trust will no longer provide community gynaecology services to the residents of Hammersmith and Fulham. The service will continue to see existing patients, but from 1 December 2019 the service will not be accepting new referrals.

If you are already a patient with our service, we'll have spoken to you about these changes and discussed the best options for your care going forwards. If you have any queries please call 020 3313 7320.

Referral information for GPs:

For gynaecology conditions that cannot be managed in primary care, patients should be referred to secondary care gynaecology services via ERS. From 01 December 2019 all new referrals must be made via ERS to the acute trusts. Please refer to the north west London referral guidelines prior to referral.

About our service

The community gynaecology service treats patients with a broad range of conditions including incontinence, prolapse, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders and menopause concerns.

Patients benefit from the expertise of gynaecological specialist GPs and consultants in settings which are closer to their home and more convenient than a hospital visit.

The service began as a specialist GP pilot service in 2013 and due to excellent patient feedback and support has expanded.
