Mr Stuart Lavery Consultant in gynaecology, reproductive medicine and surgery and director of IVF unit
Mr Stuart Lavery has been a consultant in gynaecology, reproductive medicine and surgery at Hammersmith Hospital since 2002. He completed his undergraduate training in South Africa before specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology in Oxford. He was a research fellow in pre-implantation genetic diagnosis at Hammersmith, which was followed by subspecialty training in reproductive medicine and surgery at Imperial College London. Mr Lavery has extensive experience in helping patients with complex medical histories, and offers clinics in the NHS and the private sector. His main research interests are IVF, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and screening and fertility preservation. He has presented nationally and internationally in these fields and has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles. Mr Lavery is an honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College.
