Dr Rosie Belcher is a geriatrician who works in the emergency department and admissions areas of the hospital, providing a comprehensive review for frail patients. She works closely with therapists, nurses and other staff to manage problems and help frail people remain independent in their own home for as long as possible. She also works with GPs to see patients at the St Charles Hub. Dr Belcher graduated from Newcastle University in 2004. She completed training in geriatrics and general internal medicine in north west London in 2015 and was appointed as a permanent consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2016. Dr Belcher has a particular interest in medical education and worked as a teaching fellow for three years during her training. She supervises and teaches medical students at St Mary's Hospital.
