Mr Justin Vale qualified from Middlesex Hospital Medical School in 1984. His postgraduate training included general surgery and urology registrar at St Bartholomew's Hospital and he was senior registrar on the west London rotation. In 1988 he was awarded his FRCS Eng qualification, followed by his FRCS (Urol) in 1992. In 1993 he was appointed as consultant urological surgeon and became St Mary's Hospital honorary clinical senior lecturer in 1994. In 2012, Mr Vale was promoted to honorary reader in urology and in 2013 became adjunct professor.
