Background

Dr Diana Hagger trained at Charing Cross Hospital, qualifying in 1978. She has worked at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust for over 30 years specialising in red cell disorders and gaining a FRCpath in 1990. She works part time two days per week as an associate specialist . Dr Hagger sees patients in the general clinic with Dr Salooja and the red cell clinic with Dr Layton and Dr Luqmani.

Dr Hagger is currently participating in two trials of novel agents in sickle cell disease, and also a Phase 2 trial of a novel agent in pyruvate kinase deficiency.
