Pulse is our quarterly magazine, focusing on our staff, patients and volunteers, looking behind the scenes at the real story of the incredible work that goes on across the Trust.

It is available in hardcopy from red and orange Pulse bins across our five hospitals – in reception areas and main entrances and next to restaurants and cafes.

PULSE - WINTER/spring 2018

Pulse winter spring 2018

In this issue, we explore how our staff are making their mark through the incredible work they do.

Don’t miss our in-depth feature on consultant cardiologist, Dr Ramzi Khamis. As well as doing his day job and conducting research, Dr Khamis is helping to set up a cardiac surgery centre and catheter lab in Bethlehem.

We also find out how a request to do more outside regular therapy sessions led to the creation of the ‘café-hab’ for current and past patients of the neuro-rehabilitation ward at Charing Cross; and how specialist midwife Juliet Albert and her team are supporting women with FGM (female genital mutilation), with the help of Imperial Health Charity.
