Pulse - summer/autumn 2017

Pulse magazine cover

In this issue, we recognise the outstanding care and services provided by our staff, and what our Trust offers them in return.

We explore how staff on our leadership development programmes are coming up with innovative solutions to Trustwide problems; our quality improvement programme is helping staff to join forces and create networks across sites; and a healthy eating initiative is responding to feedback in the latest staff survey.

We interview Dr Ian Gabriel and Karen Bradley from haematology about the boundary-pushing treatment they are providing to MS patients, through innovative stem cell transplants. Karen also describes the exciting opportunities they offer new recruits to their team and the extreme measures they take to raise money for research.

We also profile the winners in the annual Make a Difference awards; welcome our junior doctors; and look behind the scenes of the Hospital documentary series. Plus much more.

We hope you enjoy the latest edition. If you have a story you would like to share or you have any suggestions, please email imperial.communications@nhs.net.
