Trust not affected by cyber-attack
There is no evidence that our Trust’s computer systems have been infected by the global cyber-attack which hit a number of NHS and other organisations last Friday, spreading a serious computer virus.
Our hospitals have been operating as normal and we have maintained safe patient care throughout the weekend.
We did close down some non-essential computer systems as a precaution and we have been making some additional safety improvements to our computers and infrastructure.
We are now bringing all of our systems back online. We are taking extra care to do this in the safest way possible. This may mean the computer systems used across our services are working more slowly.
