St Mary's Urgent Care Centre new service provider
Central London CCG has appointed Vocare Ltd to run the urgent care centre (UCC) at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington on a five year contract, following a competitive tender process. The UCC has been in operation since 2010 and the contract for its provision was due to expire.
Vocare Ltd is a nationwide provider of urgent care services, supporting more than 10 million patients across the UK through urgent care centres, GP out-of-hours services, integrated urgent care centres and the NHS 111 service.
Vocare Ltd is expected to start operating UCC services at St Mary’s Hospital from the end of April 2016. As the current providers of the UCC service, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust will work with the new provider to ensure a seamless transition for patients and staff.
