Cancellation of Trust board meeting

Due to the current urgent priority of the NHS response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Trust board’s meeting which was due to be held today (Wednesday 27 January 2021), has been cancelled. This is to allow the executive team and staff to focus on operational priorities at this challenging time.

As with the whole of London, the Trust has seen a huge increase in patients with Covid-19 since Christmas and our hospitals continue to be very busy. As a result, we have reduced our governance activities, which means there are no significant decisions or proposals that need to be discussed or considered by the Trust board at present.

Our non-executive directors are receiving weekly updates on the Covid-19 response and they recognise the huge efforts being made by our staff and wish to express their deepest thanks and appreciation for their dedication and commitment.

The regular chief executive’s report to the board will be available from board papers section of our website. In the absence of the Trust board’s public meeting, members of the public are welcome to submit questions to the Trust secretariat via imperial.trustcommittees@nhs.net
