Flow Coaching Academy taster session

Run out of the Trust’s improvement team, the Flow Coaching Academy Imperial programme is supporting improvements to patient care pathways.

Across different pathways and through regular 'big rooms', a number of improvement coaches are supporting a range of staff and patients come together to make improvements to patient care through improving patient flow and reducing unwarranted variation in care.

The improvement team are pleased to announce a number of taster sessions over the coming months to provide an overview of the Flow Coaching Academy programme and training in quality improvement. The sessions are aimed at attendees of the current or new 'big rooms' as well as anyone with an interest in quality improvement. The sessions will include:

• an overview of the Flow Coaching Academy programme
• What a 'big room' is
• an introduction to coaching approaches for improvement
• an introduction to improving patient flow and reducing unwarranted variation
