The general/administration programme
The general/administration programme is aimed at any candidate over the age of 16 who wants to improve their chance of finding paid employment by undertaking a period of work experience at the Trust. Placements mainly take place at Charing Cross hospital and can range from one week to several months. Demand is high and places are limited.
The application process
We are currently no longer taking any more applications for this program.
Application submission
Please allow the Trust time to process the application, it is not uncommon to wait a month to hear if the application is successful.
You will also need to complete a health questionnaire which will be sent to you separately. Our preferred method of communication is via email. We will contact you if we require more information and to let you know if your application has been successful.
If we are unable to offer you a placement in your chosen area, this will be the end of your application.
What to expect on a placement
You are likely to be helping with day to day administration tasks, like filing, sending letters and emails, answering phone calls, photocopying, data impute and office administration. Each candidate is provided with a timetable of activities for the duration of their placement.
Unsuccessful applicants
The Trust offers other programmes, which may help you to gain the skills and experience needed to enable you to apply for paid employment. We can offer apprenticeships and pre-employment programmes.
