Teaching

Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary’s Hospital Postgraduate Centres provide trainees with excellent weekly mandatory Foundation teaching sessions both Consultant and registrar led.

You are required to attend your formal teaching sessions and sign the register as teaching attendance is closely monitored.

70-75% attendance must be met in order for you to be signed off at the end of the year. If you need to make up teaching shortfall because of annual or study leave, please click on alternate teaching record sheet below. The alternate teaching record sheet is to record extra sessions you attend i.e. mandatory departmental teaching, Friday Medicals and Grand Rounds etc.

You can also complete e-learning modules and print/upload the certificates as proof of completion. You will be required to provide this evidence at your sign off.

Trainees from all sites are welcome to attend any of the 3 sites Foundation teaching.
