Visiting times

Our hospital wards are busy areas. They are a place of work for our doctors and nurses and a place of rest and recuperation for our patients. Please ensure that you only come to visit patients during official visiting times. You will not be allowed onto a ward outside of visiting times other than in the most exceptional circumstances.

• Charing Cross, Hammersmith or Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital
Visiting hours vary from ward to ward, so please check the times with a member of staff on the relevant ward in person or by calling the hospital switchboard:
Charing Cross Hospital: 020 3311 1234

• St Mary’s Hospital
The following visiting times are a general guideline only:
Adult wards: From 15.00 to 20.00
Adult intensive care: From 10.30 to 15.30 and from 18.00 to 20.00
Children’s wards: Only parents or carers can visit. 24 hours a day
Maternity wards: Partners can visit 24 hours a day. All other visitors can visit from 15.00 to 20.00

• Western Eye Hospital
The following visiting times are a general guideline only: from 15.00 to 17.30 and 18.30 to 20.00.
