The Stroke Support Group meets on a monthly basis to provide an informal forum for all stroke survivors, their family, friends and carers and patients with transient ischaemic attacks (TIA) to find out more about stoke prevention and talk about their experiences. The sessions are run by the clinical nurse specialists in stroke and there are speakers from a variety of professions who are all experts in stroke care and prevention. The group is informal and relaxed and offers a great opportunity to ask all the questions you’ve never been able to.
