Gay men (men who have sex with men)

The Jefferiss wing at St Mary’s Hospital has a long history of serving the needs of gay men. Our gay-friendly main clinic sees a large number of men who have sex with men (MSM). You can attend this service with confidence that we can address sexual health issues relevant to you. The service operates Monday to Friday. You do not need an appointment to attend.

We also have a dedicated gay men's clinic for gay men aged less than 35, known as the GUYS@Mary's clinic. As well as our routine sexual health screening the clinic is able to offer gay men some additional services including:

• Vaccinations against hepatitis A and B
• Safe sex advice
• Rapid HIV testing
• Post-exposure prophylaxis for HIV (PEP)
• Condoms
