Our sexual health clinics

Most people attending the Jefferiss wing for the first time will attend the walk-in sexual health clinic. If you think you may need to attend a specialist clinic, you will be assessed in the ground-floor clinic and referred on if necessary. If you are male and coming to have a check-up we ask you to try not to pass urine for two hours before your appointment. If you have STI symptoms it may be important to get a check-up done without delay.

Alternatives to the walk-in clinic are available for particular groups:
• If you are aged under 20 you can also attend the ARC clinic
• Gay or bisexual men aged under 30 years can also attend the gay men's clinic at GUYS @ Mary's clinic
• Individuals or couples experiencing sexual function problems can access the Jane Wadsworth clinic for help and support
• Men who sell sex can also attend the Working Men project
• Women who sell sex can also attend the Praed Street project
