Urology

The urology department provides acute and elective services including:

• Day surgery
• Inpatient care
• Complex urological cases
• One-stop haematuria clinic
• One-stop prostate clinic
• Minimal invasive radical prostatectomy using the Da Vinci robot, the first UK centre to establish a robotic radical prostatectomy programme. Other robotic operations are in evolution including radical cystectomy
• Stone clinic

Location
General urology is in the Surgical Innovation Centre. The one-stop haematuria clinic and the one-stop prostate clinic are in the day surgery unit on the 4th floor of Mary Stanford building.

Elective day case procedures are carried out by our surgeons at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
