Upper gastrointestinal surgery

St Mary’s Hospital is the regional upper GI cancer unit for north-west London and offers a range of routine and highly specialised surgical procedures, including:

• Specialist oesophago-gastric cancer (open and laparoscopic)
• Specialist laparoscopic services for benign upper gastrointestinal surgery, including reflux disease, achalesia and other motility disorders
• Redo and reconstructive gastric surgery for benign disease

Location
Services are provided in the outpatients department at St Mary’s Hospital.
Surgical wards are in QEQM building and Cambridge wing.
Daycare and the short stay surgical unit are on the 4th floor of the Mary Stanford wing.
