Rheumatology

The rheumatology department offers a diagnostic and therapeutic service for patients suffering from disorders of the locomotor system, which include degenerative, inflammatory and infective diseases of joints.

The service offers specialist one-stop injection clinics, anti-TNF clinics, multidisciplinary rheumatoid arthritis clinics, lupus and vasculitis clinics, scleroderma clinics, combined upper limb and foot and ankle clinics with orthopaedics.

General rheumatology clinics are held Monday to Friday, and clinics are held to monitor long-term treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and the connective tissue diseases.

Expertise is offered in joint aspiration and injection. A one-stop injection clinic is held every two weeks.
