Paediatric endocrinology
One to two clinics per month are provided by one of the general paediatricians (Dr Mike Coren) with visiting tertiary specialists from Chelsea and Westminster (Dr Nicola Bridges and Dr Saji Alexander). We have close links with colleagues in adult endocrinology and are able to smoothly transition adolescents to adult services when appropriate.
Patients encompass a full range of clinical issues including growth, puberty and thyroid disorders and rarer endocrine problems.
In addition to outpatient clinics, investigations and treatments are performed on the Westway ward and paediatric short stay unit.
