The Winnicott Baby Unit (special care and intensive care) at St Mary’s Hospital is a local neonatal unit with 18 cots.
It provides care for pre-term babies more than 28 weeks’ gestation and critically ill term newborns from around London, England and Wales. It caters for all medical conditions apart from cardiac and neurosurgery cases.

The Winnicott Foundation is a charity that supports the local neonatal unit at St Mary’s Hospital and the neonatal intensive care unit at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital.
