We provide a comprehensive service for haematological (blood) diseases, including malignancies, bleeding and thrombotic disorders, anaemias, haemoglobinopathies and haemolytic disorders. The clinical haematology department provides services at Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St Mary’s hospitals.
The clinical haematology department strives to improve patient outcomes and experience. There are over 150 employees in the department including consultants, haematology doctors in training, specialist nurses, support nurses and a social worker. As a multidisciplinary team (MDT) we review patient cases during MDT meetings. Clinical trials are an important part of the department’s leading approach and we maintain strong links with Imperial College London and national and international expert organisations.
Here you can find information about the clinical haematology services we offer at our hospitals. We have listed below links to the hospitals where the service is available. Please select a link to find out more details, including information about the specialist consultants who provide the service.
